Home Education 1:1 Tutoring

Whether you are electively home educating, or if your child is refusing to attend school, Thame SEN support can help with keeping up an education schedule, lesson or subject catch ups, tutoring in a wide variety of subjects from KS1 - College study, Independent research projects, CV creating, supervising independent learning.
Daytime Only Home Tutoring rates apply. £18 per hour.

Preschool 'School Head start' Sessions available aged 3 -4 available. Parent or Guardian must be present on the premises as this is option is not a childcare facility. Sessions take place in your own home, Parents working from Home find this time useful for Zoom meetings. Charged at £18 per hour.
Evening, Weekend or School Holiday Tutoring
Any tutoring that takes place in these time frames are charged a rate of £25 per hour.

School Holiday tuition options are varied. There may be school Holiday group activities taking place. Please check the website for updates.
Weekend and Evening hours are subject to availability. There may be a waiting list particularly during exam periods. To avoid disappointment, please book early. There may be times where additional tutors can be sourced to accomodate extra students during busy times.
Small Group Tutoring
Small Group tutoring is available for groups of 3- 6 students for Home educated students during the day at a rate of £7 per student per hour.

Small groups of 3- 6 students for general tutoring during evening or weekends are charged at £9 per student per hour.
​
Evening SATS or Exam revision groups from 2 - 8 students can be booked at a cost of £9 per student per hour during exam periods, subject to availability.

Funding Discounts for Eligible families available
Tutoring for Students who are awarded Disability Living Allowance, receive single parent income benefit, PIP claimant parents, or students with Young Carer status can benefit from a discount in line with hourly or ongoing support rates.

Limited discounted spaces available on School Holiday Schemes may be available subject to availability. Book early to avoid disappointment.
